Locally Developed Courses

They are currently 5 locally developed courses available to students for which high school credit may be earned. You may refer to the following chart when selecting which courses to offer in your school.


Common Framework of Reference (CFR)


Saskatchewan currently uses the Common Framework of Reference (CFR) to provide language proficiency information about our English language learners. More information can be found on the Ministry of Education's Web Site.  Here you will find A Guide to Using the CFR With EAL Learners that can be used when establishing a student's benchmark level and monitoring student progress.

Secondary EAL Programming Pathways-This document describes the type of programming available to students who require English as an Additional Language support.


Payment of Part-Time Teachers- EAL

Part-time EAL teachers may use the following form for payment for attendace of EAL PD deemed mandatory by the EAL Coordinator outside of the regular contract schedule. This form is to be completed by your Principal.
